Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Engineer (Data Scientist), you will be involved in the daily operations of the development team. You will work closely with the rest of the multidisciplinary team and receive ample support from experienced Machine Learning Engineers and Software Engineers.

Tasks include:

• Developing and implementing machine learning models for various applications within the insurance industry.

• Improving current machine learning models

• Automating or standardizing our solution

• End-to-end involvement in the solutions: from data ingestion to machine learning models, to delivering results and business implementation.

• Providing support during implementations at our clients by explaining the technical solutions to clients and gathering input for improvements. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn Machine Learning Engineer to complement our team of three top performers. Ideally, you also have:

• A completed master’s in Econometrics/Data Science/AI or a related field

• You find joy in solving a data science problem and the tasks that come with it, such as data transformations and model implementations.

• You have experience in Python, SQL is a plus.

• You have an interest in technology and/or the insurance market.

• You possess good communication skills in both Dutch and English

• You are independent and show initiative, but also function well within a team and enjoy collaboration
